We are now looking for a Quantitative Risk Analyst to join the Collective Impairment Models team in Risk Models. The job provides an exciting mix of challenges within credit risk. About this opportunity

Welcome to the ECL Frameworks team. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Play a key role in a wide range of tasks in the area of credit risk including:
    • building credit risk models and frameworks, defining good solutions for expected credit loss,
    • developing programming tool to enable impact simulation for the entire Nordea portfolio,
    • providing sharp data analytics to contribute to key decisions, 
    • establish strong relationship with different stakeholders within and outside the bank to facilitate understanding on our models and frameworks
  • Work in interesting projects that are highly prioritized within the bank.

You’ll join a highly international team with people from mixed cultures and backgrounds. The role is based in Warszawa; Helsinki.

Your experience and background:

  • An academic degree (MSc or PhD) within a quantitative field, including but not limited to statistics, mathematics, economics or engineering.
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, R.
  • Experience working with data and models preferred
